TNN respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly.

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected in connection with TNN-hosted events, trips, vacation experiences, fan experiences, activities and related offerings (collectively, "Events").

This Policy should be read together with any applicable Better Collective privacy policies, cookie policies, Event-specific terms and the TNN Events and Vacation Experiences Terms and Conditions and Liability Waiver.

1. Information We May Collect

Depending on the Event or booking, we may collect information including:

  • Your name and contact information;

  • Your legal name as it appears on travel documentation;

  • Passport or other identification information;

  • Travel details;

  • Accommodation information;

  • Accessibility needs or other information necessary to facilitate participation;

  • Information required by airlines, hotels, transportation providers, ticketing providers or other Event suppliers;

  • Booking and transaction information;

  • Communications you send to TNN regarding your booking or participation; and

  • Other information you voluntarily provide that is reasonably necessary to administer your booking or Event experience.

The information required will vary depending on the specific Event.

2. Why We Collect Personal Information

We may collect, use and disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to:

  • Process and administer Event registrations and bookings;

  • Arrange flights, hotels, transportation, tickets, activities and other Event components;

  • Confirm participant identity where required;

  • Communicate booking confirmations, payment information, deadlines, itinerary information and Event updates;

  • Coordinate accommodations and accessibility requirements;

  • Work with travel agents, suppliers and Event partners;

  • Respond to customer questions or requests;

  • Administer changes, cancellations, credits or refunds where applicable;

  • Facilitate emergency, safety or operational requirements;

  • Meet legal, regulatory, accounting or recordkeeping obligations; and

  • Otherwise administer the Event for which the information was provided.

TNN will not use personal information collected specifically for travel booking or Event administration for unrelated purposes except with appropriate consent or where otherwise permitted or required by applicable law or applicable TNN/Better Collective privacy policies.

3. Travel Documentation

Where passport, identification or similar travel information is required, TNN will use that information for the purpose of facilitating the applicable booking or Event.

Such information may be provided to the specific supplier that requires it, including an airline, hotel, transportation provider, travel agency, insurer or other supplier where necessary to complete the applicable arrangement.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that information supplied to TNN is accurate, complete and current.

4. When We Share Personal Information

TNN may disclose personal information to third parties where reasonably necessary to provide the Event or services you have requested.

Depending on the Event, these parties may include:

  • Expedia Cruises or other travel agencies;

  • Airlines;

  • Hotels and accommodation providers;

  • Transportation providers;

  • Ticketing providers;

  • Insurance providers;

  • Venues;

  • Activity providers;

  • Payment or booking service providers;

  • Other suppliers or Event partners; and

  • Government, regulatory or law-enforcement authorities where disclosure is permitted or required by law.

Third-party providers may maintain their own privacy policies and information-handling practices.

TNN does not authorize suppliers to use personal information provided specifically for an Event for unrelated purposes except where independently permitted by law or under their own direct relationship with the participant.

5. Service Providers and Information Outside Canada

Some service providers involved in an Event may operate or process information outside Alberta or Canada.

Before publication, TNN should confirm whether Event customer information is stored or processed outside Canada and identify the applicable countries or service-provider arrangements here where required.

Information handled outside Canada may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is processed.

6. Retention of Information

Personal information will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for any applicable legal, accounting, contractual or operational requirements.

When personal information is no longer required, it will be securely deleted, destroyed or anonymized in accordance with applicable TNN and Better Collective information-management practices.

7. Protecting Personal Information

TNN takes reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information in its control.

Access to personal information should be limited to employees, representatives and service providers who reasonably require the information to perform their duties or provide the applicable Event services.

No electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Access and Correction

You may request access to personal information held about you or request correction of information that is inaccurate or incomplete, subject to applicable law.

Because accurate information may be required to complete travel bookings, customers should notify TNN promptly if their:

  • Legal name;

  • Contact information;

  • Passport or identification details;

  • Accessibility requirements; or

  • Travel information

changes after booking.

Fees or penalties imposed by suppliers as a result of incorrect information or later changes remain subject to the applicable booking terms.

9. Consent

Where consent is required, TNN will seek consent appropriate to the nature and sensitivity of the information and the purposes for which it will be collected, used or disclosed.

Providing information necessary to complete a requested Event or travel booking authorizes TNN to use and disclose that information as reasonably necessary to provide the requested services, subject to applicable law.

Where permitted, consent may be withdrawn by contacting TNN. Withdrawal of consent may affect TNN's ability to provide services or complete a booking where the information is necessary for participation.

10. Event Photography and Video

Photography, video or audio may be captured during TNN Events.

The collection and use of Event photography, video, voice, likeness and related promotional content is governed by the applicable TNN Events and Vacation Experiences Terms and Conditions and Liability Waiver and any additional Event-specific notices.

11. Website Cookies and Analytics

TNN websites or booking pages may use cookies and similar technologies.

Information regarding the cookies, analytics, advertising technologies and related website data practices applicable to the website should be provided through the applicable Cookie Policy and Better Collective privacy materials.

13. Changes to this Policy

TNN may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to its Events, suppliers, technology, business practices or legal requirements.

The current version will be made available through the applicable TNN website or booking platform and will identify the date it was last updated.
